Prices are for standard cars and sedans. Utes, 4WDs and vans are quoted after a look or a few photos, because size and condition change the job.
Interior
From $250
The full reset. Every surface, every gap, every corner of the boot.

Vacuum, wipe down of all surfaces, interior glass and door jambs. The tidy up that keeps a car sharp between full details.

Spray, agitate and extract on the stubborn stuff. Spills, pet accidents and ground in grime a vacuum will not shift.
Exterior and paint
From $120
Foam pre wash, proper two bucket hand wash, wheels and arches, tyres dressed and a spray wax to seal it.

What a wash cannot do. Strips out what is bonded into the paint.

Wet sanded back, machine polished clear, then ceramic coated so it holds. Not a cheap spray that yellows again by summer.

One faded or scratched panel corrected on the machine, without paying for the whole car. Paint depth is gauged before any polishing starts, so nothing gets cut that cannot afford it.

Full interior detail and exterior decontamination together. The one to book before selling, or once a year to reset the car.

How it works
Message or call with a few photos of the car and what is bothering you. You get a real price back, not a range designed to change later.
Pick a day that suits. All that is needed at your end is somewhere to park it and access to power and water.
Walk around the car before payment. Anything not right gets fixed. Cash or bank transfer, and a proper invoice.
Areas we cover
Based at Marlo and out most days across East Gippsland. Pick your town for travel fees and what we usually see there.
Home turf, no travel fee. Covers Newmerella, Cabbage Tree Creek, Bete Bolong and Jarrahmond.
$40 travel. Salt, sand and boat ramp grime, so decontamination is usually the go here.
$80 travel. Planned as a full day, worth grouping two cars or a neighbour into the one trip.
Questions
Yes, that is the whole business. Home, work, the farm, wherever the vehicle sits. Marlo and Orbost have no travel fee, and it is a flat rate further out so you know the number upfront.
Somewhere to park with room to work around the car, plus power and water for the services that need it. Everything else, the machines, compounds, towels and water gear, comes with me.
An interior refresh or a wash and wax runs one to two hours. A full interior or an exterior decontamination is closer to two to four. The full package can take most of a day depending on what the car has been through.
Photos only tell part of the story. Pet hair, mould and thin clear coat all change the work involved. The final price is confirmed before anything starts, never after.
Yes, because the failed layer is sanded off rather than covered up. The lens is machine polished back to clear and sealed with a ceramic coating so UV does not undo it in a few months.
Not always, and you will be told that honestly before starting. Anything your fingernail catches in is usually too deep to safely polish out, and on thin or previously corrected clear coat the safe move is to leave it alone.
Cash or bank transfer once you have looked over the car. You get a proper invoice, the business is ABN registered.

The fine print
Booking a service means agreeing to the following.
Quotes given before an inspection are estimates. The final price is confirmed once the vehicle has been seen. If the condition differs from what was described, for example heavy pet hair, mould or serious paint defects, any extra cost is confirmed with you before work continues.
A travel fee covers fuel and time outside the Marlo and Orbost area.
Travel is confirmed at booking and added to the final invoice.
Bookings need reasonable access to the vehicle, plus power and water where the service calls for it. If access is not available on arrival and the job cannot go ahead, it is treated as a late cancellation.
The vehicle is inspected before work begins, with photos on larger jobs, to record existing scratches, chips and paint condition. Snowy River Car Detailing is not responsible for pre existing damage including prior scratches, worn trim or failing clear coat. Cut and polish works on the existing clear coat, so where it is already thin or has been over polished before, results cannot be guaranteed and the business is not liable for burn through where reasonable care has been taken.
Please remove valuables and rubbish before the appointment unless removal is part of the booked service, and mention any mechanical or electrical issues that could affect the work, such as windows or locks that do not operate.
Due on completion unless agreed otherwise. Cash or bank transfer.
Please look the vehicle over before the appointment finishes. Anything raised within 48 hours is put right at no extra charge. This does not cover issues raised after 48 hours or damage that happens once the vehicle has left our care.
Before and after photos may be used for the portfolio and social media, with number plates left out. Say so at booking if you would rather not be included.
Nothing here overrides your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
